Our client is a Singapore-based startup specializing in digital technology, particularly in the Automotive, Fintech, and Manufacturing sectors. They provide a range of solutions in Connected Factory, Credit Services, and Fleet Management.

Responsibilities

·       Develop, design, and optimize scalable, secure, and high-performance applications in Liferay based on business requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement Liferay-based solutions, and maintaining and enhancing existing Liferay applications to ensure optimal user experience

·       Utilize Liferay DXP/Liferay 7.x to develop and maintain Liferay Portal applications using Java/J2EE, JSP, HTML, and JavaScript.

·       Utilize Liferay Service Builder for entity creation, finders implementation, custom SQL writing, Dynamic Query API, and Boolean Queries.

·       Manage Liferay upgrades, performance tuning, and configuration of Liferay clusters.

·       Design and develop modules in Liferay with a strong emphasis on design principles.

·       Configure, customize, and administer the Liferay Portal environment.

·       Develop UI components utilizing Alloy UI, Clay, and Lexicon frameworks.

·       Implement integration architecture related to Liferay, including services-based and API-based integration.

·       Conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and maintain coding standards.

·       Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, user guides, and release notes.

·       Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary fixes and enhancements.

·       Integrate Liferay with other enterprise systems, databases, and third-party applications.

·       Understand and implement non-functional requirements such as scalability, security, application monitoring, and performance.

·       Apply Domain Driven Design (DDD) principles in development processes.

·       Utilize Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies and perform Unit Testing with JUnit.

·       Demonstrate strong programming and Business Logic skills.

Requirements

·       Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

·       Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Liferay or any CMS development.

·       Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring framework (Spring-MVC), and Hibernate.

·       Hands-on experience with Liferay MVC Portlet and Liferay Theme Development.

·       Good understanding of Liferay Commerce, Portal administration (User role and privileges, Web content & structures, Localization, Workflow management), and DAM Liferay (Digital Asset Management).

·       Knowledge of portal standards like JSR 168, 286, and OSGI is a plus.

·       Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients, business, and technology teams.
